The Chinese group Chint, founded in 1984 and specializing in smart energy solutions, and Intec Energy Solutions, a company based in Turkey, have announced that they have teamed up to develop a 154 MWp solar power plant, the largest in Romania, after have signed an engineering, procurement and construction contract with the Israeli developer of renewable energy projects Ecoenergy. The investment will be implemented in Argeș County, where the Rătești Solar Park will be installed into an area of 165 hectares, being expected to produce 124 GWh of solar energy annually, which will reduce carbon emissions by approximately 160,000 tons each year, the companies sent in a common message. The investment in the solar park in Argeș will total 100 million euros.
