BONDOC ȘI ASOCIAȚII advised Solarealize SA, a Portuguese independent renewable company, on a development / partnership agreement concluded with a Romanian company experienced in solar projects, for developing a targeted 43.5 MW initial project and other similar opportunities.
Cosmin Stavaru, partner, led BONDOC ȘI ASOCIAȚII team which was involved in the drafting and negotiation of the development agreement and ancillary documents and is further supporting the client in its investment plans for Romania.
Solarealize is currently developing a large portfolio of solar projects (exceeding 1,500 MW aggregated capacity in Portugal only) and this is the first project the company starts in Romania.
Investors’ appetite for solar projects in Romania is increasingly high, due to several factors, including the general improvement of the local legislative framework and the promotion of solar power in the 2021 – 2030 Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan as a main driver towards meeting the 2030 national renewables target by Romania.
